The Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda will organize the conference “The 2030 Agenda in Local Government Action” on November 4 and 5.<\/em><\/p>\n

Following the conference, the General Assembly of the Network will be held, where the work plan and its lines of action for the coming months will be approved.<\/em><\/p>\n

Madrid, November 3, 2021.- On November 4 and 5, the FEMP Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda will organize the conference “The 2030 Agenda in Local Government Action”. The event will begin at 10:15 with the opening session, which will include the participation of Daniel de la Rosa Villahoz, Mayor of Burgos; C\u00e9sar Rico Ru\u00edz, President of the Provincial Council of Burgos; Jos\u00e9 Hila Vargas, Mayor of Palma and President of the Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda; Carlos Daniel Casares D\u00edaz, Secretary General of FEMP; and Alejandro Blanco Bravo, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee. Additionally, the Secretary of State for the 2030 Agenda, Enrique Santiago Romero, will participate remotely.<\/u> <\/u><\/span> <\/p>\n

During the conference on November 4, there will be panel discussions on “Keys to Advancing the 2030 Agenda from Municipalities and Provinces”; “Interinstitutional Coordination to Accelerate the Bottom-Up Implementation Process of the SDGs”; and “Opportunities of the 2030 Agenda as the Cornerstone of Local Policies”. The session on November 5 will feature a panel entitled “Necessary Actors in the Local Implementation of the 2030 Agenda” and, upon conclusion, the II General Assembly of the Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda<\/u> <\/u><\/b> will be held. <\/span><\/p>\n
