{"id":6421,"date":"2021-07-22T08:35:03","date_gmt":"2021-07-22T08:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/redagenda2030.es\/noticia\/burgos-to-host-the-2nd-assembly-of-the-network-of-local-entities-for-the-2030-agenda\/"},"modified":"2021-07-22T08:35:03","modified_gmt":"2021-07-22T08:35:03","slug":"burgos-to-host-the-2nd-assembly-of-the-network-of-local-entities-for-the-2030-agenda","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/redagenda2030.es\/en\/noticia\/burgos-to-host-the-2nd-assembly-of-the-network-of-local-entities-for-the-2030-agenda\/","title":{"rendered":"Burgos to host the 2nd Assembly of the Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In parallel,<strong> the city of Burgos will host the Conference on municipalities and the 2030 Agenda<\/strong>, as announced today by the <strong>President <\/strong>of the Network of Local Entities for the 2030 Agenda, the Mayor of Palma <strong>Jos\u00e9 Hila<\/strong>, who estimated attendance at more than 300 political and technical representatives.<\/p>\n<p>The Assembly of the Network of Local Entities is the Network\u2019s highest governing body\u2014created just over a year ago\u2014and is made up of representatives of full members, honorary members, observers and collaborators, bringing the total to 342 local entities, which represent, he specified, \u201ca population of 24 million inhabitants in one year\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Among the Assembly\u2019s responsibilities are the design of policy to defend interests and ensure the achievement of the Network\u2019s own objectives, approval of the programme of activities, the annual report and the Network\u2019s annual budgets. It will be the first assembly to be held in person, combined with videoconferencing for members who cannot attend in person.
