Citizen involvement and engagement from the social and economic fabric has been very significant throughout all phases of the design of this action, with joint work to identify problems and potential, define challenges, and outline possible solutions or ways to address them. It has been structured around several pillars:
\n– Websites to facilitate citizen participation online.
\n– Cross-cutting meetings open to all residents.
\n– Sector-specific and cross-cutting workshops with the main economic and social stakeholders around the key aspects of the strategy.
\n– Presentation of the strategy to all residents, from the social, political, business and individual spheres.
\n– Participation of companies, associations and entities through letters of support showing their backing.
\nBefore implementation, tactical urbanism was carried out, consisting of painting and marking the roadway in different colours to represent the final situation of the action, in order to gather residents\u2019 opinions and suggestions before executing the project. <\/p>\n
