The 6th Assembly of the network will be held virtually on November 6th
The 6th Assembly of the Network of Local Authorities for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will finally take place on November 6th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in a virtual format, following the postponement of the session originally scheduled due to the declaration of national mourning after the tragic railway accident that occurred on 28 October.
The meeting, that had been scheduled for October 29th, 2026, in the city of Huesca was postponed due to the declaration of national mourning, with a new date subsequently set for the Assembly to be held online.
The meeting will maintain the same agenda and the items included in the notice previously sent to members of the Network.
Political representatives and technical staff from member entities will be able to participate in the session through the connection link provided by the Technical Secretariat. Those who have not received it, or who require the access information again, may request it from the Technical Secretariat of the Network of Local Authorities for the 2030 Agenda via email at redagenda2030@femp.es.
The Assembly is the Network of Local Authorities for the 2030 Agenda’s highest decision-making body. Its main responsibilities include defining the Network’s lines of action, adopting agreements to fulfil its objectives, and approving its key planning and management instruments, such as the Programme of Activities, the Annual Activity Report, and the annual budget.
