Call for Grants to Promote the 2030 Agenda in Local Entities
The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published the extract of the Resolution of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda, which calls for grants aimed at promoting the 2030 Agenda in Local Entities.
Purpose of the grants
The call, under a competitive tender regime, aims to finance projects and initiatives that promote the implementation, alignment and localization of the 2030 Agenda in Local Entities. This action is framed within the provisions of Article 1 of Ministerial Order DSA/632/2022, of June 23, which establishes the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies for actions to promote the 2030 Agenda in Local Entities.
Budget and allocation
The maximum budgetary amount for this call amounts to 6,600,000 euros, which will be distributed in the following tranches:
– 1,400,000 euros for projects submitted by local entities or groupings of local entities with a population equal to or less than 5,000 inhabitants or groupings led by local entities with a population equal to or less than 5,000 inhabitants and in which each participating local entity has a population equal to or less than 5,000 inhabitants.
– 3,200,000 euros for projects submitted by local entities or groupings of local entities with a population greater than 5,000 inhabitants and less than 100,000 inhabitants or groupings represented by local entities with a population greater than 5,000 inhabitants and less than 100,000 inhabitants.
– 2,000,000 euros for projects that do not fall under any of the circumstances provided for in sections a) and b), by population or that are Provincial Councils or equivalent entities, Metropolitan Areas, Commonwealths, Districts, Island Councils and Island Councils, among others.
The grants may cover projects with a minimum requested amount of €20,000 and a maximum of €250,000.
Deadline and Application Submission Process
The deadline for submitting applications begins on June 1 and ends on June 30, 2025. Applications must be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda, and will be addressed to the Directorate General of the 2030 Agenda.
Applications must be submitted using the standardized form available on the Ministry’s website, and all documentation must be signed by the person holding the legal representation of the Local Entity.
